Day 9: Heading Home to Indiana
During our flight to Houston, TX we were told we would need to land at Ellingingtion Airport for fuel because we were in a holding pattern due to a thunderstorm in Houston. At 5:45 cst the pilot told us good news. We were allowed to land at Continental's gate. Once we arrived we had to go though customs and then get our luggage. One of our team members got pulled aside for questioning. Some of the team waited and then went to baggage claim. Once we got our baggage we had to go through another check point and recheck our luggage. Unfortunately the same team member got pulled aside again. Some of the team went on through security while the rest waited for our team member. Security took forever. It was 7:20pm and our plane started boarding while 5 of us were still in line to go through security. It was 7:34pm when we made it to the train to go to concourse B. We ran to gate 79A only to find out our gate had been change to 87. We power walked/ran to gate 87 and made it to board the plane at 7:48pm. Note our scheduled departure was 7:55pm. Lets just say it has been interesting since we landed in the states...
