Traveling notes...

A couple thoughts as we prepare for the trip:
- The weather is supposed to be in the mid to high 60's during the day, and low 50's at night. With the heat index being 100 degrees here in Indiana, it may be easy to forget to pack some heavier clothes.
- For those who have not traveled to high altitude places, sun screen is very important. UV levels are much higher, and sun burn is a real concern, even on cool days. Also, be prepared to take it easy the first day or two while your body aclimates. - The current exchange rate is 1 USD for 7.82 Q.  This is very similar to last year
- Our hotel has a web page that is kindof neat: http://www.caciqueinn.com/
- Don't forget to bring some snacks, cards / games, maybe a book for down times.
- Emergency phone numbers for family and friends: 011 502 4236 8031 or US Number 812 303 3382, usually checked once a day
- Don't forget your passport! It is a good idea to bring a photocopy of it in your checked baggage as a backup in case of problems
